PROSTITUTION IN MEXICALI INFORMATION ON THE MEXICALI SEX TRADE (and other related items)

Originally I had planned something different for this section. The main focus was going to be on CLUB MAGIC in Mexicali, which used to be my favorite spot. Sadly, early in 1998 I learned that MAGIC got closed down, so my original plan went down the toilet.

The problem is MAGIC was one block away from the border. Hence, it was the most sensible recommendation I could make on Mexicali's scene for American patrons with little knowledge of Spanish or the city. After all the rest of the good bars are far away from the border and they require you to know Spanish and to either drive around or know the complex taxi cab system in Mexicali.

I figured that the next move would be to gather more detailed info on clubs similar to MAGIC, but since ACUARIS and LA CABAņA, which are the closest thing to MAGIC, are so far away from the border, and sexual favors, while possible, are not 100% sure, I had to shift my focus to the one place in Mexicali where getting laid is a sure bet: The BAR SAN DIEGO.

And thus the Mexicali section remained under construction until I could get more info on other bars in Mexicali--and, of course, some pictures. Unfortunately I have not had the time to get around this. I know how to get there, I just never bother to write down the addresses.

But since recently I got flamed on ASPT for keeping the Mexicali section perpetually under construction, I figured I should AT LEAST have some sort of quick guide in here in order to keep the flames down. The problem is, of couse, I only spent a couple of hours on the quickie guide and, due to the haste in which it was written, it lacks the finished touch I was hoping to achieve for this section originally.

Many more things are lacking, of course, such as maps, phone numbers for Hotels in Mexicali, places to eat, pictures and things like that. Hopefully all of these things will be added as time goes by.

Please feel free to see the beta test version of my Mexicali Guide. I call it beta test version because it was really done in such a haste that I don't think it should be considered a final draft. It does cover the basics on hot to get laid at at least one bar in Mexicali, and if you follow the guide you will achieve this goal--provided you know enough Spanish--but still it needs much more polishing.
